Williamscraig is the perfect place to get ready for a wedding, or host a hen party or any other celebration! It is a beautiful setting for photographing family events and just a few minutes' drive from romantic wedding venues such as Linlithgow Palace, Linlithgow Burgh Halls and The Vu, Bathgate.
"We stayed here for 4 days and nights in February; my sister was getting married at The Vu and we all got ready here including the bride. It was a magical place to stay with breathtaking views and a warm atmosphere. The house is massive with lots of room and everything you could need. It is designed to be a house for a family in that the commual area is connected to all the bedrooms etc. We loved it!!!! Findlay popped around a few times and even helped us with how to put kilts on."

For balloons and more we recommend Edinburgh based wedding and events specialists Bonnie Weddings & Events, give them a ring on 07947 716537.
Or you could enjoy a gin tasting tour at the local Linlithgow Distillery and learn how they make LinGin and the Four Marys. You will be able to sip a LinGin perfect serve G&T at the start of the tour and will then get to try five of their gins at the end.
All of our cottages now have hot tubs - imagine sipping champagne whilst gazing at the stars... or having a good laugh with your friends; the perfect celebratory break.
We’re excited to introduce a new and very popular activity here at Williamscraig Holiday Cottages – a fun and memorable tractor tour around the farm steading.
Guests are taken for a ride in a secure cradle fitted to the front-end loader of the tractor, giving a great view of the farm and a real hands-on farming experience. It’s an enjoyable way to see how the farm works, with plenty of laughs along the way.
This activity is especially popular with girl groups, families, and groups of friends, but really it’s perfect for anyone who enjoys something a little different and lots of fun. It’s a great opportunity to get up close to farm life and make some unique holiday memories.
If you’re staying with us and fancy giving it a go, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to arrange it for you.
On site Highland Games Entertainment provided right next to the cottages – not far to stroll after what would have been a ‘guid night’ meeting up with the Girls/Ladies for the first night of the Hen Party!
Fancy Tossing a Caber, Throwing a wooden Log over a Rising Bar, trying to perform on our Obstacle Race and taking part in our Haggis Throwing Challenge where you could win Gin / Whisky for the Winning Clan to enjoy on site!
Face painting, Jimmy Hats for the Bride to Be and her Bridesmaids (if chosen as the Chieftains of the Clans) and the chance to prepare and perform a Chant to get the Clans ready for the Games.
