Can I start and finish my holiday on any day of the week?
Yes, the booking system will allow you to start on a Friday or a Monday depending on how long you would like to stay, but if you want to start or finish on any other day of the week please get in touch and I can price it and book for you over the phone.
How much will it cost, when can I pay the deposit and final payment?
Prices advertised are for up to 6 people in each 3 bedroom cottage and 12 people in the Farmhouse. There is a surcharge of 10% per person for over 6 people in each of the 3 bedroom cottages and between £40 and £75 per person in the Farmhouse. To book a cottage the deposit is 40% of the total booking cost, or if the booking is a long way away, it can be less than 40%, and you can pay over the phone by card, by cash, or the most popular payment, deposit payment email, that will be sent to you when you book on line, and the second payment email will be sent 6 weeks before arrival. If you would like to pay it earlier, please ask and we will send you the second payment email earlier.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Arrival is from 4pm and departure by 10am. If you want to stay later or arrive earlier, please let me know as this is normally possible.
Is there enough parking?
Yes we have lots of parking for each cottage, and visitors too.
What do I need to bring with me?
We will supply the minimum to get you started, like soap, 2 toilet rolls only, dish washer tablets, 1 bin liner in each 50l bin and 10l bathroom bin etc. We provide bed sheets, towels, baby items (cots, stair gates, high chair, toys, kids cutlery and crockery), we do not have BBQs (only disposable BBQs to be used, as we find in impossible to clean a BBQ), outside tables and seats.
We only supply one bin bag in the kitchen and one toilet roll in each bathroom if you could bring extras if you think you will need them.
What do we have in the garden?
We have barbecue areas (please bring a disposable BBQ with you), a table and seats and a grass lawn. There is a playpark on site.
Do we need to bring wood for the fire?
We will supply you with a pack of brickettes to get you started, and can provide further packs at £7 per pack, or you can bring your own wood.
Can I bring my dog?
We do accept pets at £25 per well behaved dog (only two dogs max allowed in a cottage).
Have you got WiFi?
Yes, we have free WiFi in our cottages and have super fast fibre broadband.
How many people can sleep in the cottages?
The 3 bedroom cottages can sleep 6 plus 2 more in the second sitting room, on a sofa bed and/or a camp bed. Both Eden Cottages can be booked together to sleep 8 in the bedrooms plus there is a large double door joining them. The Farmhouse can sleep 12 plus 2 more people.
Can the cleaner come during our holiday?
Yes, if you want the cleaner to come during your holiday please arrange this on arrival.
